My Beautiful Place

Far beyond the edge of the world is my beautiful place...

As I strolled to my beautiful place I could see the sunrise and the sparkle in the stars shining on me it was almost like I was the chosen one. As I jogged some more, I had saw the most tallest and enormous light house, it was shining bright like a shooting star and as tall as a giraffe.

When I looked around I could hear the beautiful ocean and the coldest waterfall dripping down like a herd of aeroplanes crashing down. The sand was drifting side to side like a cobra snake moving it’s head slowly by and the trees falling down like a tone of elephants on top of each other.

As I looked to the side I could feel the coldest water from the most richest pool in the world. I could also feel the gluey sand and the hardness in the rocks that were as hard as a rhino and as tough as a lion.

I could taste the fresh air and the salt coming from the most beautiful ocean it was as beautiful as a fresh flower full of honey.

As I had almost finished my journey through my most beautiful place, I took the last sprint through and smelt the most beautiful flowers, fresh air and the chocolate melting down like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

This is my beautiful place. Do you dare to come and visit my beautiful place?

Describing Piri Weepu

Ebenezzer Baah

It was windy as I looked out from the stadium to see Piri Weepu...
As he was leading the Haka with concentration, anger and shouting.

Did you know Piri Weepu’s full name is Piri Awahou Tihou Weepu?
Have you discovered that Mr Weepu has scored 4 tries in his professional career? He has played for the Hurricanes, the Wellington Lions and the almighty All blacks.

Mr Weepu was born on the 7th of September 1983 and he weighs 97kgs. He is 1.78cm tall. Piri is a good player and a tough warrior. He runs like a cheetah and tackles like a bulldozer. Did you also know that Piri is that good at passing he made it in to the All Blacks, even after breaking his leg?

He is fit and brave man when he leads the haka. He’s a good role model and he’s a spectacular ambassador. When Mr Weepu played for the Hurricanes he had evaded and fended off the the opposition as he made his way to the try line.

What made really Piri Weepu so special to me was... that when I knew Piri was leading the haka and representing our country.

Goku had cried because his washing machine was destroyed. He ran for help and grabbed the officer's hand, screaming at him like he was his mother.

A QR code is a image that can people can scan with a device to track you down and know what the company is about. QR stands for "Quick Response". Tsunami discription

Tsunami Report

I am coming live from Japan with action. Firstly, I heard people crying, babies screaming and kids worried for their parents, it doesn’t stop there...

Then there was a huge tsunami that came with his friends busting down the people of Japan’s homes and shopping centers. I saw cars crashing and buildings reemerging up from under the sea.

Next, I smelt smoke coming from the swamp of terrifying danger. It kept on going for two hours.

Lastly, The people of Japan were heart broken and afraid because they didn’t want to die. I felt for them and I had to to do something about it, so I packed my bags and went
home and told my friends to donate.

Layers of the Earth

WALT: Make a model of the four layers of the earth out of play-dough

So.... that when we learn about natural disasters we can use our knowledge
of the layers to understand them better.

To....help us in topic and science and learn about the earth around us.

Crust:
The crust has about 7 tectonic plates outside of the earth and it’s about 15 - 75 km thick.

Mantle:
The mantle is two different types parts, those are the upper mantle and lower mantle. The lower mantle is 2300km dense thick. The upper mantle is 400 km thick and that is also includes iron.

Outer core:
The outer core is 2300 km thick and it’s iron, nickel and sulphur. It is made out of liquid.

Inner core
The inner core is 1200km thick and it is iron, nickel and sulphur.
The temperature is 6650 degrees Celsius! It is really hot under ground!

Ebenezzer Goal Term 2

Term Two Learning Goals

My learning goal for Reading this term is:
To read one chapter of my book each night.
To achieve this goal, I will need to:
Take a book from the library each Thursday at school or from the Panmure library so I can read a chapter each night.
My whanau can help me achieve this by:
They could read with me or they could help me get to the library on time.Make me a challenge.

My learning goal for Writing this term is:
To remember to check my spelling and to keep learning about how to use punctuation correctly.
To achieve this goal, I will need to:
Practice spelling with my family.  Edit writing I do at home, so I can learn better at school.  Use a dictionary to help with spelling and read my writing with a buddy so they can help me too.
My whanau can help me achieve this by:
Writing me story with no punctuation so I can try to figure it out by myself.

My learning goal for Maths this term is:
To learn my fractions.
To achieve this goal, I will need to:
Practice my fraction knowledge every day.
My whanau can help me achieve this by:
My parents can give me fraction challenges for me to answer.

My personal goal this term is:
To allow my little sister and brother to allow themselves to bring new things into their lives and encourage them and their good decisions.
To achieve this goal, I will need to:
Practice how to be encouraging when they know they are going to lose a game.  I will tell them it is alright because at least they tried it.
My whanau can help me achieve this by:
Playing another game of it and while they are playing I will use encouraging words to encourage them.
